Arthur Conan Doyle (1859 — 1930)was an English writer best known for his detective stories about Sherlock Holmes. «Micah Clarke» is a historical adventure novel set in the times of Monmouth Rebellion in England. The book follows the story of an extraordinary man, who starts as a romantic adventurer, but living a difficult life, ends up as a hardheaded soldier of fortune.
