[Gears of War 4] is a continuation of a series of brutal third-person shooters, where players are again sent to the planet Sulfur, which survived both a nuclear war and an invasion of monsters named locusts. Twenty-five years have passed since the events of the third part of the series. The main character of the fourth part is not Marcus Phoenix, but his son JD. Together with his comrades in arms, he will face a new threat that threatens the lives of people at Sulfur.
The gameplay of the fourth part remains the same - it is still a shooter with shelters, where there is a machine gun with a rifle chain saw and a dismemberment. Players will have to challenge not only living enemies, who are called the Horde, but also COG combat robots, who hunt for the protagonist squad. One of the key changes in the gameplay is the appearance of monstrous storms that shake the surface of Sulfur, sweeping away everything in its path. Players will personally observe how entire houses fly into the sky, as well as try to survive when such storms come.
In addition to the single player campaign, the game also has a multiplayer mode.
