The new story campaign is dedicated to the dramatic events of December 2016 - March 2017, when the ancient city was again in the hands of terrorists, and there was a threat of the enemy´s rapid advance deep into the territory controlled by government troops, with access to large cities. However, thanks to the stubbornness of the Syrian army, and with the help of allies, including the Russian Aerospace Forces, the enemy offensive was first stopped, and then reversed.

The story will develop around one of the detachments of the elite Syrian unit of the Tiger Force, which, despite being taken by surprise by the sudden offensive of ISIS, defended its positions on the outskirts of Palmyra to the last, was surrounded and fought its way to the T4 airbase, where it later took active participation in the defense of the air base and the subsequent return of Palmyra.

Under the control of the player will be new units, in particular the units of the Tiger Forces already mentioned, units of the Lebanese volunteers, as well as the national defense forces.

The arsenal of weapons presented in the game has significantly increased due to new models: LNG, recoilless rifles, both in the infantry version and with the installation on "technical", heavy machine guns. The fleet of tanks in the game will expand with modifications of the T-55 and T-62 tanks. The aircraft fleet will be replenished with Ka-52 Alligator helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Gazelle attack and reconnaissance helicopters of the Syrian Air Force.

The terrorists will also use weapons that have not been previously shown in the game: first of all, these are American Humvee vehicles actively used by ISIS, captured from the Iraqi army, suicide bombers on heavily armored vehicles, and new variations of technical vehicles.
