The new story campaign focuses on the dramatic events of December 2016-March 2017, when the ancient city was once again in the hands of terrorists, and there was a threat of rapid enemy advance deep into the territory controlled by government troops, with access to major cities. However, thanks to the persistence of the Syrian Army, and with the help of allies, including the Russian Air Force, the enemy offensive was first halted and then reversed.
The story will revolve around one of the elite Syrian unit of the Force of the Tiger which, despite being caught by surprise by the sudden attack of ISIS, defended its positions on the outskirts of Palmyra to the last, was surrounded and fought its way to the T4 airbase, where it later took an active part in the defense of the airbase and the subsequent return of Palmyra.
New units will be under the control of the player, in particular the already mentioned Tiger Force units, Lebanese volunteer units, as well as the national defense force.
