Secret Government is a grand strategy game about a secret society that has invisibly ruled humanity for hundreds of years. You will lead not just any individual country, but the Brotherhood, an organization that manipulates the whole world.
GOAL OF BROTHERHOOD
The Brotherhood´s ultimate goal is a new world order. You, as the Grand Master, at the start of the game choose the image of the world that you want to create.
POWER SEIZURE
You will send your agents to various states, look for an approach to recruit civil servants, and infiltrate government institutions.
MANIPULATION
You will be able to manipulate one country or create combinations that include several countries at the same time. You will be able to change the power in countries, ideology, well-being of classes, push countries to start wars or stop them.
DEVELOPMENT OF BROTHERHOOD
All masters have their own unique characteristics and capabilities. You choose how and what traits to develop, select the best brothers for a specific task.
ANOTHER BROTHERHOOD
Besides you, there is another brotherhood in the world that has its own goal of changing the world. The Brotherhood, just like you, recruits government members and manipulates countries.
CONSPIRACY
Act secretly and carefully, otherwise the government will expose you or another brotherhood will track you down.
WAR
In the game you cannot attack a country, but you can provoke war, peace or an alliance.
ECONOMY
The well-being of the population and the wealth of the country as a whole depends on the economy. You can influence production, resource consumption by different classes or industries, and trade between countries.
ESTATES
Countries are people. They are divided by class, they have their own role in society, their own values and needs. They can be born, die, migrate and move from class to class. Influence people and you will influence the country and its role in the world.
DEEP MECHANICS
In the game, everything is connected to everything. For example, a shortage of steel for weapons production will affect the country´s combat capability. An attempt to increase the army to compensate for the decrease in combat effectiveness will lead to the mobilization of the peasants. A decrease in the number of peasants will reduce the volume of food production, and this will affect the extinction or migration of other classes, such as artisans.
MAP
You are not playing for a country, but with the whole world. The game offers two historical periods: 1685 and 1775, as well as the political and territorial division of those years.
STORY COMPANIES
If you are not yet ready to build your new world order in free play, then you can try on the role of the Grand Master in story campaigns. There are currently two campaigns in the game. The Glorious Revolution in England and the Struggle of the Thirteen Colonies for Independence in the New World.
