1967 The Cuban Missile Crisis, which marked the beginning of World War III, continues. Global cooling, which was a consequence of the use of nuclear weapons, radically changed the course of world history, foreshadowing a new, hitherto unprecedented intensification of the struggle for survival. Due to global icing, which has made most of the United States, Australia and southern Africa uninhabitable, Americans are forced to use army units to evacuate troops, resources and people from the affected areas. This greatly weakened the position of the United States on the continent and opened the way for Soviet troops to the resource reserves and territories of the American continent, which were so necessary for the United States. Inspired by the seizure of European Union lands in West Africa, the Soviet command begins Operation Ice March, unprecedented in its scale: expeditionary forces, having overcome the Arctic ice, fall on unprotected cities of America. The semi-desert territories of Mexico and the ice-covered megacities of the United States are becoming the field of new battles, the main goal of which is the survival of nations in the chaos of post-nuclear madness.

“Ice March” is a continuation of the military operations simulator “Cubic Crisis”, made in the style of alternative history using historically accurate technology from the late 60s and early 70s.
