Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG and digital adaptation of Isaac Childress´s best strategy board game. Gloomhaven is set in a unique medieval dark fantasy universe. It rewards strategic planning and problem solving. Take on this dark world alone or in online co-op with up to 4 players!
Explore the world as part of a group of 2 to 4 mercenaries. Each of the 17 unique characters has their own skills and over 1000 different abilities to master! Prepare a deck of ability cards before exploring the dark caves and eerie forest of Gloomhaven through quests and events.
Once in the dungeon, engage in tactical turn-based combat, choosing two cards for each mercenary each turn. You can only use the top half of one and the bottom half of the other, so plan accordingly! Move mercenary blades across the hexagonal terrain grid to take advantage of the dungeon´s environment. Create deadly combos and unleash destructive powers, but be careful about the cost. Cards are as scarce and important a resource as your hit points, so keep an eye on their depletion. Every choice has life and death consequences.
Hone your abilities as you play with upgrades and perks, and your power increases with leveling up and new equipment. You need every advantage possible to survive here. So, prepare your band of mercenaries, chase powerful artifacts, gain the favor of the Great Oak, and never let your guard down.
Based on the original Gloomhaven board game, this sprawling campaign of 95 story missions pits your greed against your morality. Many powerful opponents fight for control of the city of Gloomhaven, while others search ancient crypts and forgotten artifacts. You can always take the side of the residents, but this may not bring good results...
Whatever your path, it will be paved with difficult choices.
Created in collaboration with the community during Early Access, the Guildmaster adventure features over 160 exclusive digital missions that will allow you to experience another side of Gloomhaven with new storylines, quests, map and NPCs.
Lead your mercenary guild in a region inhabited by unspeakable creatures far worse than mere bandits.
Choose the best combination of mercenaries for each battle and follow the stories of their characters in this deadly territory.
