You are the governor of the Scorched Queen, appointed by her in order to subdue the barren wastelands and find the lost treasures of the Smoldering City, the last bastion of civilization, miraculously withstood the Rotten Storm that destroyed the old world. In most urban planning simulators with elements of survival, you control only one city, but in Against the Storm your task is to build a huge network of prosperous settlements in which different fantastic peoples will live, differing from each other in lifestyle, needs and skills. There are many unexpected threats waiting for you on undeveloped lands, and incessant storms will prevent your wards from rebuilding. You will lose your settlements, expeditions will fail, but this does not mean defeat. Against the Storm is a game with "bagel" elements, which means that even in case of failure you will be able to continue your mission, saving resources, improvements and experience from previous campaigns. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DIVERSITY OF YOUR INHABITANTS Beavers, lizards, humans and harpies help each other survive in this dangerous world. Use the strengths of each race to meet the needs of all.
