To help ghosts cross over to the other side, you must first understand them.
Remnant Records is a horror investigation game for 1-4 players in which you are a new employee of an agency dealing with paranormal phenomena. Choose a role that matches your favorite gameplay style and fight against difficult ghosts, each with unique behavior and reactions. Your task will be to exorcise and free them with the help of your team.
To exorcise a ghost, you first need to understand it. Search the place and look for clues left behind: diaries, newspaper clippings, unusual objects. Find out what kind of person they were before they died and collect as many items as you can that are closely connected to them. Once you´re ready, all that´s left to do is begin the exorcism, praying that you got it right... and hold out until the ghost leaves this world.
• Unique and terrifying ghosts, each with their own appearance and behavior. Meet the mannequin who uses light and shadow to catch you off guard, the blind runner who will find you if you make the slightest noise, and many more terrifying spirits.
• Four different roles that will help each player significantly influence the course of the mission. Play as a bodyguard who can break down doors, or as a medium who is closely connected to the world of the dead.
• Procedural contracts that tell a new story to decipher with each mission.
• Level up and unlock a variety of features, such as customizable difficulty and modifiers, that make each mission a new challenge. Set the Ghost and Investigation difficulties separately to suit your play style.
• Play co-op with up to three other friends (or strangers), and communicate via voice chat. Ghosts also have unique abilities that only appear in multiplayer.
• Become a skilled ghost hunter by completing your missions, gaining new knowledge as a player, and filling your Exorcist Journal with strategies to survive the next contract.
