Tim Schafer´s first adventure game in sixteen years, Broken Age was born two years ago during a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign. Now it´s here, and it´s beautiful, in 2D, hand-drawn glory, with a unique orchestral score and an all-star cast.

Broken Age is a timeless coming-of-age story about sick trees and talking spoons. Vella Tartine and Shai Volta are two teenagers who find themselves in remarkably similar situations, but radically different worlds. The player can switch freely between the two stories, helping them figure out their own destinies and the adventures that lie ahead.

They say the adventure game genre is dead, but then Broken Age punched a tombstone and grabbed you by the arm, and you screamed like the ending of Carrie, except the words were "I love adventure games!" And yes, sorry if we told you the ending of Carrie.
