The single-player campaign of the game "Invasion of Earthlings" in the genre of black comedy combines such elements as turn-based battles and stealth. You, the player, control the local race of aliens defending their home from the invading humans.
Galactoil, a laughably inefficient energy corporation, is hell-bent on extracting energy from across the known universe, and will drill into anything in its path to line its pockets with cash. However, their recent assault on the energy resources of planet X13 has left them in a bit of a bind. The planet´s native insectoid inhabitants, the Swarmers, have other plans - to devour all of the corporation´s workers!
You control the Swarmers, aggressive insectoid creatures who must convert human flesh into alien muscle tissue, upgrade their units, and even find time to ruin a birthday party.
To stop the invasion, the Swarmers must carefully plan their attacks. Take control of unsuspecting workers, set traps, pop out of vents and hiding places to catch your victims off guard, and attack in groups to kill multiple enemies at once.
The more Earthlings you kill, the more corpses you can consume and transform into new units with special roles and unique abilities. The flesh of the workers is the key ingredient in the alien uprising against Galactoil.
Voice actor and Vine creator extraordinaire ShengWen Cho, aka ProZA (A Hat in Time, Paradigm), lends his amazing voice to X13´s regional mining operations manager Dennis Dickinham, a man who is unreasonably overpaid for his unreasonably underqualified skills. A gregarious guy who finds joy in anything, whether it´s a simple game of golf with the boys or rerouting power from the infirmary to the boardroom massage chairs, Dickinham never gets discouraged! But never, EVER utter the words "bad idea" in his presence.
The game also features an original soundtrack composed by Mikolaj Stroinski (Vanishing of Ethan Carter, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood & Wine).
