ICBM is a real–time strategy game about a global thermonuclear war. Explore new technologies, accumulate stocks of nuclear weapons and use the nuclear triad to strike at the largest cities and industrial centers of the enemy, while protecting your population from enemy attacks. Take command of one of the continents and prepare for a global nuclear conflict. Your task is to achieve the complete and final destruction of the enemy, while avoiding the blow of retribution and the destruction of your peace–loving people. RESEARCH AND CONSTRUCTION Explore technology and build a nuclear arsenal. What will you choose – the development of new types of weapons, or the mass production of existing models? Only a true strategist will be able to find a balance that will allow them to withstand the full variety of enemy tactics. THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO ACHIEVE THE GOAL IN ICBM, you can find a unique strategy with each new game. Crush the enemy with a massive strike of intercontinental missiles? Or use strategic aviation to deliver 50 megaton bombs? Or maybe place missile submarines in the most unexpected places? All these and many other strategies can be used to achieve the goal. In the game you will find 20 types of military equipment, 12 types of nuclear weapons, as well as 44 technologies that can be explored. ADJUST THE SPEED OF THE GAME TO SUIT YOURSELF, painstakingly plan your every move, or just bomb everyone quickly. Increase the rate of pollution of the planet for a "short and painless" nuclear war, or slow it down, prolonging the agony of destruction. In ICBM, you can flexibly adjust the speed of the game, adjusting it to your taste. CONCLUDE (LONG-TERM?) ALLIANCES Use diplomacy to gain a strategic advantage. Share information, technology, or even the exact coordinates of your nuclear launch silos with your allies to destroy the enemy more effectively. But always remember that an ally can stab you in the back at the most unfortunate moment! CREATE AND EXECUTE ATTACK PLANS Use the attack planner to avoid wasting time on micro-management. Create a detailed plan in advance, set cities, buildings, or combat units as targets, and when the time comes, launch a simultaneous massive attack with a single button, overloading the enemy defenses.
