Howl is a fairy tale with turn—based puzzles and tactical battles set in the Middle Ages. The country was devastated by a mysterious "howling plague." Anyone who hears an animal howl turns into a hungry wild beast and spreads the curse further. The heroine of this tale was born deaf, and therefore the curse has no power over her. Play as a brave battle prophetess who is able to predict the actions of enemies. Plan six steps ahead to outsmart your enemies. Fire explosive, electric and piercing arrows, and use smoke bombs and Shadow Step invisibility to kill any beast that gets in your way. Each type of monster has its own characteristics that make life difficult for you: some approach quickly, while others can withstand stronger blows or attack from a distance. Howl is created in the style of "living ink": your story is drawn and comes to life on the screen right as it develops. Travel through a dark fairy-tale world made up of strange but magical places, and fight to rid this land of the howling plague. Howl includes 5 chapters, including the free Heart of Rot update, and each has its own visual atmosphere accompanied by soothing music. Heart of Rot — Chapter of the Free Update This side story takes you to the Capital, a city that has long been a bastion of hope in a world overrun by howling beasts. The prophetess heard rumors that the local alchemists had found a cure for the howl. Arriving at the place, she discovers a city consumed by rot... Access to this update is FREE for anyone who has purchased the basic Howl game. You can access the upgrade chapter from the Chapter 3 map at any time after reaching Chapter 3 in the main story. The Heart of Rot chapter follows its own storyline and can be played both before and after the main Howl storyline. In this update, you will find a separate chapter map, new enemies, a new boss level, new environment mechanics, and a new "Lightning Shot" skill (which can be used in the main game after unlocking!) and a character who will fight on your side in later levels. You only need the basic game to complete the Heart of Rot chapter! Predict the actions of your enemies in tactical turn-based puzzle battles. Complete 60 levels in four chapters, as well as 18 new levels in the free upgrade chapter! Admire the unique illustrations in the style of living ink.
