Hontsville is a western survival game set in the midst of the best days of the Wild West. Lost, with only hope in your pocket (and three of your closest friends), you´ll have to work the land to last the night. Build a house, look for supplies in a haunted city, or try to survive on what you can find in the wild, hunted by creatures straight out of North American folklore! GAME FEATURES OF the Cursed West : The game Hontsville, which takes place in a remote mountain village during the conquest of the frontier, will allow you to survive this turning point in American history, fighting for your life with what lurks in the darkness. Alone or with partners: The Wild West would not be itself without a reliable partner by your side. It doesn´t matter who you are – good, bad or evil, you can bring up to four brave cowboys to Hontsville who will embark on the adventure of their lives! A Western for survival : A cowboy can´t get far alone. Build a house out of trees felled with your own axe. Go to the mines to get iron for blacksmithing. Hunt animals to feed yourself. Or pack up your hardware and go to the haunted city to stock up on groceries. If you have the guts. Day and night gameplay: While the sun is shining, the valley is almost calm, so you can explore it in relative safety. But everything changes when night falls. There are animals lurking around every corner that see you as a treat. Surviving from dusk to dawn is an open question. Dynamic weather: Every time you set off, the weather may change for the worse. If the sky is clear, it may turn gray, and then a downpour will start, and you will find yourself knee-deep in mud. Upstairs, you may be caught off guard by a snowstorm or confused by the sudden onset of night, and you will encounter what lurks in the dark. Unpredictability: Hontsville relies on these complex dynamic systems that make each game unique. You never know if the previously safe place will turn out to be a nest of monsters next time, whether the rich area that you just settled in will be buried under mud or snow when you return, and whether a quick trip for firewood will turn into an intense struggle for survival.
