Break through Germany´s last line of defense. In Panzer Corps 2 - Frontlines: Westwall, you command U.S. Army units that fight on the formidable Siegfried Line from September to December 1944. What begins as a rapid advance on the enemy´s crumbling front quickly develops into a grueling, intense campaign where every inch of ground must be recaptured. Campaign Overview After the defeat of German troops in the Falaise pocket and the liberation of Paris, your next goal is clear: break through to the German border and break through the Western Rampart. Soon your offensive will reach the strategically important corridor between Maastricht and Aachen, where the first successes come quickly, but do not relax. The deeper you go, the stronger the enemy´s position becomes. From the fortified groups near Aachen to the brutal Hurtgen Forest and the Ruhr plains, you will face fierce German resistance that cannot be broken. Then your will move south to Lorraine and the Saarland, where you will strike from France to the Siegfried Line and break through to the industrial center of Germany. Participate in a wide variety of mission types: from attacks by open armored vehicles to intense urban and forest battles. Sherman Field Tanks: Use improvised versions of standard Sherman tanks reinforced with sandbags, tracks, planks, and makeshift armor. These rare units have unique features, enhanced stats, and are available in limited numbers through quests and reinforcements. Fortifications of the Western Rampart: "Dragon´s Teeth": anti-tank barriers that cannot fight back, but they are difficult to destroy and slow down your progress. Pillboxes: Small in themselves, but deadly as part of large interconnected defensive networks. Dodge WC-63 truck: A light and inexpensive transport option for certain infantry units and light artillery.
