The Jaws of the Lion expansion is a digital adaptation of the board game of the same name and an expansion to Gloomhaven, the critically acclaimed, dark tactical RPG. Recruit four new mercenaries with unique gameplay and explore a previously hidden part of Gloomhaven through a gripping storyline filled with a variety of new enemies and bosses.
You can play with four new mercenaries and items in both Guildmaster mode and existing Gloomhaven game modes. Jaws of the Lion can be played solo or in co-op with up to four players.
You are one of the most infamous mercenary groups in the seedy, backwater town of Gloomhaven. When a sinister cabal begins to disappear from the less fortunate residents, you must somehow get to the bottom of it... if you can get paid for your troubles.
You will lead the steadfast Red Guard, the fearsome Hatchet, the explosive Demolitionist, or the enigmatic Abyss Watcher, each with their own unique, fully upgradable decks of abilities and attack modifiers. May your goal come true, but be prepared, or a grim fate awaits you.
• 25 new scenarios, linked by a gripping and dark storyline leading into the underground city of Gloomhaven
• 4 unique mercenaries with completely different playstyles
• 10 new enemies and bosses, from Fanatics to Chaos Daemons, test your mettle against their blades and teeth
• 22 road events full of challenging choices
• 10 new items to help you last a little longer against your enemies
• 24 additional combat objectives that expand your mercenary abilities
