Terraria is a 2D sandbox that´s easy to mistake for a simple digging game until you reach your first real boss.

You dig down, find ore, forge gear, build a house, attract townsfolk and take down bosses one by one, each opening up the next part of the world. After the Wall of Flesh the whole game changes: new biomes, materials and enemies show up, and everything you collected before turns into scrap.

There´s enough content to stretch a playthrough into hundreds of hours. Online co-op and PvP, with a shared, persistent world.

Re-Logic released the game in 2011 and kept updating it for more than ten years.
